MICRO COGENERATION
Simultaneous generation of heat and electricity, comparing with combined heat-electricity generation, cuts down fuel consumption even by 36% and CO2 emission by 58%. Heat obtained in cogeneration is used for heating, while the generated electric power is used for own consumption, but if no electricity needs to be consumed, it is delivered to electric grid operator and it can be used later when you need electric power. Main principle of choice of cogeneration equipment to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation is permanent heat load so that the equipment operates possibly longer (also in summer), but in winter it covers the maximum heat consumption with an additional heating boiler.
